been runnin gear pumps on our ag equipment for years and always had noise issues. does this L2 series actually run quieter or is that just somethin they put in the writeup?

Reduced noise and vibration is a core engineering feature of the L2 series, not just a selling point. External gear pumps in general can get loud under load, but Danfoss specifically addressed that in this design. For agricultural equipment that runs long hours, that difference is noticeable over a full day of operation.

For metal forming, this Danfoss / Eaton-L2 gear pump should be a solid choice, plus applications in natural resources. It's made for demanding stuff.
