That 25 to 50 gal/min range reflects the unit's rated operating window, meaning it's built to handle flow anywhere in that band. Whether your system runs closer to the low or high end depends on your pump output and circuit demands. The unit won't artificially restrict you to one point in that range, so whatever your system delivers within those bounds, the Orbitrol 25 is rated to work with it.
