got a hose end that’s JIC 37° flare, and the port on my block is NPTF. is this elbow the right kinda adapter?

For tying those two thread styles together, it fits the bill. One side is a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare built to SAE J514 with a 1-5/16-12 thread, and the other side is a male NPTF built to SAE J476 with a 1-11-1/2 thread, in a 45 degree elbow.
