Will this elbow fitting hold up if I'm using it for a hydraulic system on some heavy equipment?

Crafted from high-quality brass, this 90-degree elbow fitting is designed for robust hydraulic applications, so it should definitely be suitable for heavy equipment.

got a tight spot on a hydraulic line, is this the kind of elbow that turns the flow 90 degrees while changing from JIC to pipe thread?
Question by: Peggy H on Dec 26, 2025, 8:37 AM
Built as a 90 degree elbow, it connects a male JIC 37 degree flare end to a male pipe thread end so you can make a right angle turn while transitioning between those two connection styles.

What kind of thread connections does this elbow actually use on each end?
Question by: Brenda F on Jun 8, 2025, 5:36 PM
One end has a male JIC 37-degree flare connection and the other end is a male pipe thread. So if you're running a JIC line and need to turn it into a pipe thread port, this fitting bridges that gap right there at a 90-degree angle. Both ends are male, so keep that in mind when you're planning your fittings on each side.
