Reckon this elbow fitting can handle a good bit of pressure? I'm pushin' around 5,500 PSI in my system.

got a hydraulic line running 9/16-18 JIC on one end and need to tie into a 3/4-14 NPT port at a 90 degree turn, this fitting do that?

That's what this fitting is built for. One end is a 9/16-18 Male JIC SAE 37 Degree Flare, the other is a 3/4-14 Male NPTF. So you're getting that 90-degree change of direction along with the thread transition all in one piece. The JIC side meets SAE J514 and the NPTF side meets SAE J476, so both connections are spec'd out properly.
