Thread size on this one is 1-7/8-12, that's a pretty big fitting. Just want to make sure I'm reading that right before I order.

You're reading it right. The 1-7/8-12 refers to a 1-7/8 inch diameter with 12 threads per inch, which is on the larger end for JIC fittings. It uses a male JIC SAE 37-degree flare configuration and meets SAE J514 standards, so as long as your mating component matches that spec, you're in good shape.
