I'm hooking up some stainless lines and need the insert for the job. This looks like it fits the bill but want to be sure. It's for a 1" tube OD female JIC to a 1-1/16-12 male JIC, right?

That's correct. This insert fitting connects a 1-inch tube OD female JIC SAE 37-degree flare end to a 1-1/16-12 male JIC SAE 37-degree flare end, both conforming to SAE J514.
