got a hose end thats 1-1/16-12 female JIC, will this step it down to 3/4-16 male JIC?

For adapting between two JIC 37 degree flare sizes, it goes from a 1-1/16-12 female JIC SAE 37 degree flare on one end to a 3/4-16 male JIC SAE 37 degree flare on the other, both built to SAE J514.

Thread sizes on this one got me second-guessing myself, the female end is 1-1/16-12 and the male end is 3/4-16, that right?

that's correct. The larger female JIC end runs 1-1/16-12 and the male JIC end on the other side is 3/4-16. Both ends use the SAE 37-degree flare configuration and are built to SAE J514 spec, so as long as your existing fittings match those thread sizes and flare type, you're good to go.
