If I'm swapping out an old fitting, how can I tell if this reducer will be compatible with my existing hydraulic lines?

This reducer is designed to connect lines with different JIC (Joint Industry Council) sizes. It adapts from a 3/4-16 Male JIC to a 9/16-18 Female JIC, both with a 37-degree flare. Make sure your existing lines match those thread sizes and types.
