got a 3/4-16 JIC male fitting on my hydraulic line and need to tie into a 1/4-18 female NPTF port, this the right adapter for that?

That's what this one does. One end is a 3/4-16 Male JIC SAE 37-degree flare, and the other is a 1/4-18 Female NPTF. Straight configuration, no angle. If those are your two thread sizes and types, it'll connect them up without any modification needed.

Reckon this fitting will hold up alright with a 6,000 psi system?

this adapter's rated to handle dynamic pressures up to 6,000 psi, so it should be a-okay for your setup.
