got a hose end with a 5/16-24 JIC flare, does this adapter screw into a 1/8-27 nptf port?

On the JIC side, it is a male SAE 37 degree flare with 5/16-24 threads (SAE J514). The other end is a female NPTF thread, 1/8-27 (SAE J476), so it is made to thread onto a 1/8-27 male NPTF fitting or nipple.

What kind of threads are on each end of this adapter, and are they gonna hold up to high-pressure lines?

One end has a Male JIC SAE 37 Degree Flare thread sized at 5/16-24, built to SAE J514 spec. The other end runs a Female NPTF thread at 1/8-27, meeting SAE J476. Both thread types are well-suited for pressurized hydraulic connections, and the adapter is rated for up to 6,000 PSI dynamic pressure, so it handles serious line pressure without issue.
