What size threads does this thing use?

It has a 1-7/8-12 male JIC SAE 37-degree flare thread on one end and a 1-1/4-11-1/2 male NPTF thread on the other.

got a line running 1-1/4 NPTF male on one end and need to tie into a JIC flare fitting on the other, this the right adapter for that?

That's exactly what this adapter is built for. One end is a 1-1/4-11-1/2 male NPTF thread, the other is a 1-7/8-12 male JIC SAE 37-degree flare. Both ends are male, so you'd need female-threaded ports or couplings on whatever you're connecting to. Rated up to 3,000 psi dynamic pressure, so it holds up well in standard hydraulic line work.
