Will this fitting hold up in a system running at a steady 2800 PSI?

got a line running 1-1/2 NPTF male port on the equipment side and need to step down to a JIC flare connection on the hose end, this fitting do that job?

That's exactly what this one's built for. One end is a 1-5/16-12 Male JIC SAE 37-degree flare, and the other is a 1-1/2-11-1/2 Male NPTF. So yeah, it bridges those two connection types in a straight configuration without any adapters stacked in between.
