got a hose end that’s 1-3/16-12 JIC 37 degree flare and i need to go into a 1-11-1/2 NPTF port. is that what this adapter is set up for?

Thread-wise, it matches that exact transition. One side is a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare per SAE J514 in 1-3/16-12, and the other side is a male NPTF per SAE J476 in 1-11-1/2.
