trying to hook a JIC line to a pipe thread port, is this the right adapter or am i mixin stuff up

For that kind of hookup, it’s a straight steel adapter with a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare on one end and a male NPTF on the other, so it bridges a JIC flare connection to an NPTF pipe thread connection.
