Got a 3/8 NPTF port on a manifold block and need to run a JIC line off it, will this adapter cover that transition straight up?

That's the kind of connection this part handles. One end is a 3/8-18 male NPTF, which threads into your manifold port, and the other end is a 1/2-20 male JIC SAE 37-degree flare for your hose or tube fitting. Both threads meet their respective SAE specs, J476 for the NPTF side and J514 for the JIC side, so you're working within standard tolerances on both ends.

For that exact mix of threads, yes. One end is male JIC SAE 37 degree flare with a 1/2-20 thread (SAE J514), and the other end is male NPTF with a 3/8-18 thread (SAE J476), so it’s meant to bridge those two connection types in a straight adapter.
