part number 232797, is that the Danfoss side of things or the Eaton Vickers side, cause I see both names on it?
Question by: Ross P on Mar 13, 2026, 8:07 PM
Both names refer to the same part. Danfoss acquired Vickers from Eaton, so you'll see the product listed under either brand depending on the source. The supplier part number 232797 is what ties it all together regardless of which name appears on the packaging.

what exactly is this part, just a valve or something that goes with one?
Question by: Hugh J on Jul 3, 2025, 4:52 PM
It’s a relief valve sub assembly from Eaton Vickers, meaning it’s an assembled component related to a hydraulic relief valve rather than a complete standalone system.
