Product Questions & Answers

Got a 3/8 female flare line I'm trying to step down to a 1/4 male flare fitting. This the right piece for that?
Question by: Frank S on Oct 2, 2025, 9:22 AM
That's what this adapter is built for. One end is a 3/8 inch female SAE 45 degree flare, the other is a 1/4 inch male SAE 45 degree flare, and it runs straight through with no angle or offset. If your line and your receiving port match those sizes and both use the SAE 45 degree flare seat, you're set.

i’ve got a line with a 3/8 female 45 degree flare on it. does this adapter step it down to a 1/4 male 45 flare, straight through?
Question by: Kirk S on Mar 30, 2025, 9:39 PM
For stepping between flare sizes, it goes from a 3/8 in female SAE 45 degree flare on one side to a 1/4 in male SAE 45 degree flare on the other, and it is a straight adapter.

Will this adapter work to connect a 3/8" female flare to a 1/4" male flare, or am I missing something?
Question by: Rex H on Jul 3, 2025, 6:27 PM
That's what this adapter is for. It's a straight brass adapter that'll connect a 3/8 inch female SAE 45 degree flare to a 1/4 inch male SAE 45 degree flare.
