Product Questions & Answers

Trying to replace a fitting on a hose line, is this one the BSPP female swivel style with a 1 inch end?
Question by: Rod T on Jun 22, 2025, 7:20 PM
The key callouts are the female BSPP thread and the 1 inch end size on End 1. It’s an EW BSP female swivel fitting meant for line, hose, or tube connections, so it matches setups that need a BSPP female swivel end.

What size is that female end on this thing? Just wanna make sure it'll fit right.

That female end is a size 1, BSPP thread.

Running hydraulic lines on some heavy mining equipment and need something that'll hold up to corrosion over time. What's this fitting made of and does it have any kind of protective coating on it?
Question by: Peggy B on Nov 13, 2025, 12:20 PM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating. That coating is specifically there to fight off corrosion, which matters a lot in rough industrial environments like mining or shipyard work. The plating gives it more longevity than a bare steel fitting would, and the whole assembly is engineered to extend hose life so you're not swapping things out constantly.
