We run a mix of loader functions and auxiliary circuits on our excavators, and I keep fighting with getting everything balanced right, heard some valves let you run pre and post compensation in the same body, that true for this one?

both pre- and post-compensated sections can live in the same assembly with this valve. That means you can tune different parts of your circuit independently without bolting on a separate valve bank to handle it. For multi-function machines where loads vary a lot between circuits, that kind of flexibility makes a real difference in how the whole system responds.
