Got a forestry machine that's running multiple functions at once, does this valve handle independent load control across those sections, or do the circuits end up fighting each other?

Load sense architecture is exactly what keeps that from happening. Each section responds to its own load signal, so one heavy circuit won't rob pressure or flow from another. That's a real advantage in forestry and similar multi-function equipment where you're commonly working two or three actuators at the same time.
