trying to hook up a british parallel port to a npt hose end, is this the right adapter?

For that conversion, it matches up as a straight Male BSPP on one side and Female NPTF on the other. Side 1 is G 1/2 - 14 (male BSPP, 1/2 inch) and side 2 is 3/8 - 18 NPTF (female, 3/8 inch).
