Thread B2 on this thing is listed as Male NPTF at 1/2-14, that's a dry-seal thread, right? Wanting to make sure it'll seal proper without tape or compound if I need it to.

Male NPTF threads are built to form a mechanical seal through thread-to-thread contact, so yes, that's the nature of the dry-seal design under SAE J476. Whether you use thread sealant comes down to your system requirements and how critical a leak-free connection is in your application, but the thread form itself is engineered to seal without relying on compounds alone.

got a push lock hose and need to thread into a 1/2-14 nptf port, is that what this fitting is set up for
