Product Questions & Answers

what's the finish on this locknut, and will it hold up if it's gonna be sitting in a wet or real humid environment?
Question by: Rick P on Mar 29, 2025, 12:40 PM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives this nut solid corrosion resistance, so humid or moisture-heavy conditions are well within what it's built to handle. That plating is specifically what sets it above bare steel hardware in environments where rust is a real concern.

Got a 210212-16S bulkhead nut that’s seen better days, is this the right lock nut to swap in?
Question by: Brent S on Apr 22, 2025, 6:13 PM
For a straight replacement, this is the 210212 Series ADP bulkhead lock nut with supplier part number 210212-16S, so it matches that series and part number callout.

Will this lock nut work with standard Aeroquip fittings, or is it only for Danfoss stuff?
Question by: Stan B on Oct 12, 2025, 2:26 PM
It's an Eaton Aeroquip part, so it's made to work with their ADP series fittings. You'll want to double-check the sizing to be sure.
