Product Questions & Answers

Trying to hook a pipe thread line up to an SAE O-ring boss port, is this the straight adapter for that?
Question by: Shawn W on Apr 1, 2025, 9:58 PM
For that kind of connection, it’s a straight adapter that goes from an NPSM female swivel end to an SAE ORB male end.

does this adapter work for connecting NPSM female fittings to SAE O-ring boss ports, or am I lookin at the wrong part?
Question by: Brenda S on Jul 6, 2025, 7:02 AM
That's exactly what this one does. One end is 3/4 NPSM female, the other is 7/8 SAE O-ring boss male, so if those are the thread types you're working with, you've got the right adapter. The swivel design on the female end also gives you a little flexibility during installation so you're not fighting alignment.

So this adapter, it's got a female NPSM end and a male SAE O-ring boss? Just want to be sure I'm readin' that right.
Question by: Shawn W on Dec 6, 2025, 8:47 PM
That's correct. This adapter features a female NPSM connection on one end and a male SAE O-ring Boss on the other.
