got a balance plate inner vis30 in my cart, but what is it actually for?

Is this the right balance plate for a VIS30 Char-Lynn? Seems like there are a few different ones floating around.

Meant to be a direct replacement, this balance plate is specifically the inner VIS30 version for Eaton Char-Lynn units.
