Product Questions & Answers

Reckon this'll hold up in a hydraulic system for chemical processing?
Question by: Kirk P on Apr 20, 2025, 5:07 PM
Eaton Aeroquip designed this tee adapter for hydraulic, instrumentation, and chemical processing systems, so it should do the job.

got a line that’s NPTF on one side and 37 degree flare on the other. Is this tee the right style for that kind of hookup
Question by: Jean B on Nov 1, 2025, 6:18 PM
For mixed thread types, this adapter matches that setup. It is a tee with an NPTF male on one end, an SAE 37 degree flare male on the second end, and an NPTF female on the third end.

What kind of connections am I working with on this tee fitting, and will it handle hydraulic lines running at higher pressures?
Question by: Eddie H on Aug 22, 2025, 6:41 AM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives this fitting a solid edge over standard hardware when pressure is a concern. One end is NPTF male, one is SAE 37-degree male (JIC), and the third is NPTF female, so you've got a mix of thread types built into a single tee. The operating pressure rating runs above SAE standards, which makes it suitable for demanding hydraulic, instrumentation, and chemical processing setups where a bargain-bin fitting would cause headaches.
