Product Questions & Answers

got a brake line setup with 1/4 NPTF on one side and 5/8 UNF on the other, is this the right adapter?
Question by: Jimmy B on Apr 25, 2025, 8:54 AM
For matching thread types and sizes, this connector is a straight adapter with a 0.25 NPTF male end on one side and a 0.625 UNF female end on the other, so it fits that NPTF male to UNF female hookup.

Got a hydraulic brake line that needs a fitting to step from a 1/4 NPTF male thread over to a 5/8 UNF female connection. this the right part for that?
Question by: Dustin B on Aug 26, 2025, 7:09 AM
That's what this connector is built for. It's a straight adapter with a 1/4 NPTF male end on one side and a 5/8-18 UNF female end on the other, so it bridges those two thread types in a single piece. Brass construction keeps it compatible with hydraulic brake lines, and it meets SAE, ASME, and ASA standards, so you're not working with something undersized for the application.
