does this fit a 3/8 female pipe thread on one end and a SAE 45 flare on the other? trying to make sure I got the right adapter before I go tearing into this line

Correct on both ends. One side is 3/8 NPTF female pipe thread, and the other is a 6 male SAE 45 degree flare, which works out to 5/8 inch on that end. Straight configuration, no angle, so it drops right in where you need a direct pipe-to-flare connection.

i’ve got a hose with 3/8 female pipe on one end and a 45 flare on the other. Is this the right adapter to tie those together?
