got a mower swing motor that sees back pressure pretty regular. do i need to plumb in a case drain on this one or not

For continuous back pressure up to 2000 PSI, it can run without a case drain line. If your application is going to stay over 2000 PSI continuous back pressure, then you would add an external case drain line and route it so the motor case stays full at all times.
