been running a brush cutter setup and the motor on it finally gave out, does this 24 cu in displacement match up for that kind of application or is that more for bigger harvesting rigs?

At 24 cubic inches per revolution with a 775 newton meter torque rating, it delivers the kind of sustained rotational force those cutters need without burning through energy. The Geroler design keeps pressure drop low compared to most motors in this class, which helps especially when you're running the cutter for long stretches. Just keep in mind the recommended fluid viscosity range is 100 to 200 SUS at operating temperature, and you'll want to run it in for about an hour at 30 percent of rated pressure before putting it to full load.

This Char-Lynn motor is designed for efficiency and can handle continuous use, especially in applications like mowers or harvesting equipment. Breaking it in properly, running it at 30% of rated pressure for about an hour beforehand, will help ensure it lasts.
