what's the max temperature this motor can handle before you start running into trouble?

Fluid temperature needs to stay at or below 180 degrees F during operation. Beyond that you risk degrading the fluid and wearing on internal components faster than normal. For fluid viscosity, the sweet spot is 100 to 200 SUS, with 70 SUS being the absolute floor at operating temperature. Keeping things in that range goes a long way toward getting full service life out of the motor.

got a swing motor setup on a brush cutter, would this 2000 series unit be the right kind of motor for that job
