motor's been running fine but I want to make sure I ain't putting too much back pressure on it without a case drain line hooked up, what's the limit on that?

Without an external case drain, max case pressure on this motor is 2000 PSI. If your system runs continuous back pressure above that threshold, you'll need to add an external case drain line and make sure it's plumbed so the motor case stays full of fluid at all times. Running above 2000 PSI without that drain is where things start to go wrong in a hurry.

For brush cutters and mowers, this 2000 Series Geroler motor is often chosen, and it's also used in harvesting equipment.
