what's the material on this fitting, and is it gonna hold up alright in a corrosive environment?

Carbon steel is the base material, and it comes with Dura-Kote plating applied over it. That coating is specifically there to fight corrosion, so it holds up better than a standard uncoated steel fitting in tough conditions. For most hydraulic work environments, that combination does the job well.

trying to replace a hose end i busted, is this the 1W series code 62 flange 45 elbow for a -16 hose?
