1SEB90 Series Counterbalance Cartridge Valve, 1088-5076 PSI (Factory Setting At 3046.00), Screw Adjustment, 4:1 Pilot Ratio

For loads that stay pretty consistent, the 4:1 pilot ratio on this valve is actually the recommended choice. It's built specifically for applications where load pressure doesn't swing around much, and refuse haulers fall right into that category. The valve works by requiring pilot pressure to overcome spring force reduced by load pressure, so you get a gradual, controlled opening rather than a sudden dump of flow. That metered response is what keeps a loaded arm or cylinder from running away on you. Factory setting comes in at 3046 PSI but the screw adjustment lets you dial it anywhere from 1088 up to 5076 PSI to match your actual system needs.

Built for load control, the 1SEB90 counterbalance (overcenter) valve is used to control moving loads and prevent load runaway, adding load holding and hose failure safety when applied correctly in the circuit.

Installation is as a screw-in cartridge. For this 1SEB90 series valve, you'll need either a machined T2A Sun cavity or a housing. The A20092-T2A or Sun T2A housing is sold separately.
