what hose dash size does this fitting work with, and is the male end a standard thread type most folks'll recognize?

Compatible with -8 dash size hose, and the male end runs a 0.75-inch SAE 37 thread, which is one of the more common JIC-style configurations you'll run across in industrial hydraulic setups. Pretty straightforward to work with if you're already running JIC hardware elsewhere in your system.
