trying to match up a reusable fitting i’ve got on a -4 hose, is this one the JIC straight with the female SAE 37 end?

What kind of hose is this fitting supposed to work with, and is the -4 dash size the only option here?

Carbon steel construction and a -4 hose dash size puts this fitting in line with standard small-bore hydraulic hose applications. The -4 dash size corresponds to a quarter-inch nominal hose ID, so it's built for that specific hose size. If you need a different dash size, that would be a separate part number in the 1R Series lineup.
