does this fitting work with -32 hose or is that just the dash size for ordering purposes

The -32 is the actual hose dash size this fitting is built for, so yes, you'd be pairing it with -32 hose. It uses a Female JIC/SAE 37 swivel end connection and is part of the Field Crimp system, meaning it gets crimped onto the hose rather than threaded or pushed on. Worth noting it is not adjustable, so orientation needs to be set before the crimp is made.

On the connection end, it uses a Female JIC/SAE 37 swivel, and the other end is listed for line, hose, or tube.
