Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber, usually called HNBR, is what this one is made from. That material handles industrial conditions well and is known for being tougher and more resistant to heat and wear than standard nitrile rubber. For a sealing component in a hydraulic or fluid system, HNBR is a solid choice.
