Product Questions & Answers

Got a hose assembly that needs to make a 90-degree turn in a pretty tight spot. This a -6 dash size fitting, or do I need to double-check that before ordering?

it's a -6 dash size hose fitting. The 90-degree swivel elbow design is specifically built for situations where you're working in tight quarters and need to change direction without putting a hard bend in the hose. The male end is a 0.5-inch inverted flare, so just make sure that matches up with what you're connecting to on the other side and you should be good to go.

reckon this fitting will hold up okay in a hydraulic system that sees some pretty good jolts and bumps?

For systems prone to shock, Eaton Aeroquip advises using this fitting with their H277 or H435 hose series.

got a tight spot on a hose run, is this the kind of 90 elbow that helps you turn the line without kinking stuff up

For right angle routing in cramped installs, it’s a 90 degree male SAE inverted flare swivel elbow made to turn a hose assembly cleanly where you do not have room for a straight fitting.
