fitting rotates during assembly or is it fixed once crimped on?

The swivel is on the male ORS end, so it rotates freely during installation to help you position the hose without twisting it under load. Once everything is tightened down the hose end is crimped and stays put, but that swivel makes a real difference when you're working in a tight spot and need to thread things in without fighting the hose.

Will this fitting work with regular hydraulic hose or do I gotta get special Aeroquip stuff?

trying to swap out an old crimp end. is this one a -4 hose fitting with a 7/16 thread, ORS swivel?
