fitting's got Dura-Kote on it, so how's it hold up in wet or dirty conditions compared to a standard plated fitting?

trying to swap out a fitting on a -6 hose, is this one meant for that?

For a -6 hose, this fitting matches that dash size and it is part of Aeroquip’s 1A Series crimp hose fittings. It’s a male SAE inverted flare swivel style fitting assembly.
