fitting says it's for low and medium pressure hydraulics, does that mean it won't hold up if there's any shock in the line?

For lines where shock is a real concern, Eaton Aeroquip recommends pairing this with H277 or H435 hose rather than using this fitting on its own in a shock-heavy setup. The fitting itself is built from carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance and is engineered to extend hose assembly life, but the shock guidance is about hose selection, not the fitting's construction quality.
