what's the corrosion resistance like on these fittings? running equipment outdoors and rust has been a real problem with cheaper parts

Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives these a notably better shot at holding up against corrosion compared to standard uncoated fittings. That plating is specifically there to extend service life, which matters a lot when you're dealing with outdoor exposure or wet environments where bare steel would start failing fast.
