Does this fitting work for general hydraulic lines, or is it only meant for specific setups?

For general-purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications, this ORS swivel 90 elbow fits right in. One thing worth noting is that if your system runs into shock hazard conditions, Aeroquip specifically calls out H277 or H435 hose as the right pairing for this fitting. Outside of that, it covers a solid range of everyday hydraulic work.
