got a hose that’s -12, is this the right end for it or am i barkin up the wrong tree

For hose size, it matches a -12 dash hose and it’s a 1A Series crimp fitting assembly. On the port side it’s a 3/4 inch female NPTF end.

Is this fitting good for general hydraulic work on, say, farm equipment?
