Is this fitting actually stainless steel all the way through, or just coated? Got some corrosive stuff running through my lines and can't afford to have it flake out on me.

Full 316 stainless steel construction, not a coating or plating. That grade holds up well against corrosion in harsh or chemically aggressive environments, which is exactly what it's built for. You shouldn't have to worry about surface degradation breaking down over time the way you might with a plated fitting.
