On the End Type 1 side, it is a Push to Connect style fitting, and it is built for -6 hose dash size.

Will this fitting work with H277 hose, or is it just for H435?
Question by: Wade B on May 19, 2025, 10:18 AM
It's designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics, specifically when used with either H277 or H435 hoses where shock hazards are a concern.

does the dura-kote plating on this fitting hold up decent in wet or outdoor environments, or is that more of a shop-use kind of thing?
Question by: Todd S on Dec 14, 2025, 5:05 PM
Dura-Kote plating is specifically applied to give this fitting superior corrosion resistance, so exposure to moisture and outdoor conditions is well within what it was built to handle. Carbon steel fittings without a quality plating like this tend to rust out fast in those settings, but the coating here is meant to address exactly that concern. For general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic work, it should hold up well.

got a spot on my machine where the hoses get shook around pretty good. is this fitting meant for that kind of deal?
Question by: Phil M on Jul 27, 2025, 7:12 PM
For setups with shock hazards, it is meant to be used with H277 or H435 hoses in general purpose low to medium pressure hydraulic service.
