For a Code 61 flanged connection, this fitting fits that role. It is an Aeroquip by Danfoss Power Solutions 1A Series crimp hose fitting with a flanged end on one side and a line, hose, or tube end on the other.

does this fitting work with H277 hose or is it only rated for H435?

Both hose types are compatible with this fitting. H277 or H435 is specifically recommended when shock hazards are present in the system. For standard general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic applications, either one will work with the 1A40FL32.
