The carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives it solid corrosion resistance, and the system-engineered design is specifically meant to extend hose assembly life rather than just get the job done short-term. One thing worth knowing: if your line sees shock loads or pressure spikes, Eaton Aeroquip recommends going with the H277 or H435 series instead. Steady medium pressure with JIS connections, though, and this one fits the bill.
